At VALMIR LLC we respect your privacy. We are a United States company serving clients in different countries, so this policy is designed to comply both with United States law (including state privacy laws, such as California's, where they apply) and with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its United Kingdom equivalent. Where two laws cover the same matter, we apply the one that protects you most.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form (and, if you message us on WhatsApp, your number and messages):

• Name
• Email address
• Company name (optional)
• Service of interest and the content of your message

In addition, as with any website, the server technically logs data such as your IP address and browser type so the site can work and stay secure.

We do not ask for sensitive data (health, origin, beliefs, financial data, etc.). Please do not include it in your message.

3. How we use your data

We use your data only to answer your inquiry, send you the information or quote you request and, where applicable, manage any business relationship that results from it.

We will not send you advertising without your consent, nor make automated decisions about you based on your data.

4. Legal basis

If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the basis of:

• Your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form.
• Taking pre-contractual steps at your request, such as preparing a quote.
• Our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your inquiry. If we do not end up working together, we delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact. If we do work together, we keep it for the duration of the business relationship and any periods required by law, such as tax obligations.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing, including as those terms are defined under the privacy laws of California and other U.S. states. Only the providers we need to deliver our service have access to it, acting on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations:

• Hostinger: website hosting and email service.

We will only disclose your data to authorities when legally required to do so.

7. International transfers

VALMIR LLC is based in the United States, so your data may be processed in the United States and in the countries where our providers operate. If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these transfers take place because they are necessary to handle the request you send us, or with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission offered by our providers.

8. Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use cookies, whether our own or third-party, to analyze your browsing or for advertising. That is why we do not show you a cookie banner.

All of the site's resources, including its typeface, are loaded from our own server. Your browser does not connect to any third-party services (such as Google) when you visit the page.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp using the button on the site, the conversation takes place in that app, owned by Meta Platforms, and is also governed by its privacy policy. We will use your number and messages only to answer your inquiry, just like the form data.

9. Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@valmir.ai stating which right you wish to exercise. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within the period set by the applicable law, usually one month. Exercising your rights is free and will never result in worse treatment.

If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

• Access: find out what data we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
• Objection and restriction: ask us to stop using it, or to use it only for certain purposes.
• Portability: receive your data in a format you can take to another provider.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.

You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country, such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) in Spain.

If you live in the United States

Depending on your state of residence (for example, California), you may have the right to:

• Know what personal data we collect, how we use it and who we share it with.
• Access your data and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. Since we do not sell or share it, you do not need to do anything to exercise this right.
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

You may exercise them yourself or through an authorized agent.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a minor has sent us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or misuse. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). If a security breach affecting your data ever occurred, we would notify you and the authorities where the law requires it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our services. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date. If a change is significant, we will display a clear notice on the site.
